Open house to show case the supplemental foodshelf garden in our community. Brought to you by the Lake Superior Master Gardener Association, through FoodWIse and Essentia-Superior CHIP grants, partnered with Resource Renew, Environmental Service Div., Lake Superior Woodturners Association, and Northwest Community Services Agency. There will be several demonstrations: Common backyard weed identification, chemical free weed control, how to collect soil samples for testing, bulb planting, and care of your garden tools. Samples, recipes, community partners to talk to, etc.
